Absolutely loved this place! The setting is beautiful, the staff is wonderful and the food is incredible... It was lovely to relax here.

Normally when you return the experience is as good as the 1st. With Ahilya Fort, the 2nd experience surpassed the first; delightfully so!

The Fort is so tranquil, it was a beautiful soulful experience. Our kids loved the ambience, the architecture and enjoyed plucking vegetables from the Kitchen Garden,

The true magic of the hotel was the warm embrace we received from all staff. Couple that with wonderful meals with the menus created each day by our host, Prince Richard Holkar sourced from their in-house organic garden & farms, made our stay truly magical. We were reluctant to leave.

The Ahilya was everything and so much more than what I had read. Indeed you are not staying at a hotel but cocooned in a home away from home.

Perhaps the only heritage hotel maintained in the old Royal style. Very homely.

C'est un lieu unique au monde et vous y serez reçu comme des amis de la famille!Il est difficile de décrire le fort car chaque détail est beauté. Toutes les chambres sont des petits musées. Au milieu du fleuve il y a... le centre de l'Universe. C'est un peu une expérience irréelle mais tellement formidable qu'elle sera pour nous : inoubliable! Merci à tous.

Convivial, luxurious and in a very good way, slightly eccentric, there is so much that is simply "right" about this lovely hotel. Drifting down the Narmada on one of the hotel boats, watching the sun set and with the distant sound of the temple drums, it is hard to imagine a more exotic place!

Ahilya Fort is a real gem - hidden India. All the staff was very helpful and friendly Kunta and Garva took great care of us. Food good(not over spicy for us) and our room Imli, looking the river was very comfortable. We appreciate no TV & phone. A real hide a way for us.

Quiet, Serene, Quaint!!! A magical place to contemplate and discover hidden gems of art & architecture. Kudos to REHWA for keeping our heritage alive. Feels like home because of Koonta Bai and her team. Will be back.

We had the loveliest visit here at the Fort. We so enjoyed the company, the meals, the activities and the tent too. I loved speaking french with guests. The meals were superb! Well done on the homemade jams and jellies. We hope to return with my husband and other son.
